I work in the business world as an anthropologist.
I have a Masters degree in Whole System Design, and both a Masters and a PhD in Anthropology. I have been working in the business world since I completed my undergraduate degree.
Although I have worked in a number of different industries, I have been working in the information technology industry for most of my career.
I have been at SAP for over ten years, progressing from highly technical jobs to my current management position in business operations. I currently manage a team of about thirty people, whose tasks vary from basic intranet maintenance to interaction design and user research. I also have responsibility for a small technology innovation team, which is currently focused on social media (enterprise 2.0), and on piloting new SAP technologies internally.
I have just recently resumed my professional writing, beginning with a blog (URL at left). If you are interested in my work but you don’t find what you’re looking for, please contact me!
